Greetings, Followers of the Lamb!
Fellow acolytes, we must speak the truth: It's been a pretty crazy 48 hours here at Oni HQ as we grappled with – nay, succumbed to – the epic depths of devotion that cultists from around the world have ushered forth for this campaign. We've heard from you in the comments, in our DMs, in our inboxes, on the breath of the winter's wind... Thank you for showing up to support CULT OF THE LAMB: THE FIRST VERSE from the very first minutes that we launched!
With your divine assistance, we hurtled through four Stretch Goals on our first day...AND managed to completely SELL OUT of all limited-edition items offered by the campaign.
Truth be told, we never, ever expected for those limited-edition tiers to go so quickly (or reach this many backers so fast!), so we're working with Devolver Digital and Massive Monster on getting together some new, additional surprises as quickly as possible. It may take another few days...but we're working on it (and there is a TON of art from the series that we have yet to show you)!
In the meantime, your enthusiasm enriches us still: Aye, you just shattered our fifth Stretch Goal!
And like that, each and every physical backer of this campaign will be receiving a high-quality, cardstock 8x10" art print by artist Billy Fowler!
And so, the reckoning can begin -- let's reveal our last two (for now?!?!) Forbidden Stretch Goals:
- Once $400,000 is surpassed, we will add a SECOND 8x10" bonus art print by artist Abigail Starling to each of this campaign's physical orders! Over the aeons, Abigail has done some amazing work on comic series like My Little Pony, and you've already caught a glimpse of her artwork on the devotional candle and ritual match set included in some of the Heretic Edition tiers. She's got even more CULT OF THE LAMB artwork coming soon, so consider this new art print a premonition of sights yet to behold:
- And then... Pray tell, this is a Stretch Goal of maximum import for our brethren near and far: Once $500,000 is surpassed, we will add a mini-set of eight (8!!!) CULT OF THE LAMB tarot cards to every physical order! Featuring newly crafted artwork manifesting the cards from Clauneck's deck into physical reality by artist Brenda Hickey(Aggretsuko), these cards shall foretell your destiny to rise as a member of Lamb's flock...or doom you to the dark fate of The Old Faith:
It would be sacrilege to reveal exactly which eight cards we'll be including until the moment is just right... But should the cards' Stretch Goal be unlocked before the end of the campaign, we shall introduce them at opportune moments afforded by the will of The One Who Waits...
This is much more yet to come for CULT OF THE LAMB: THE FIRST VERSE – venerate and ye shall be rewarded with more revelations!
